Reflected Floating Light — A Vessel for Living

 

This project is inspired by the concept of a “floating vessel of light.” 316 stainless steel is shaped into a rounded organic form, resembling a soft pea-like volume. Through a highly polished mirror finish, the surroundings, people, and light are absorbed and reflected onto its surface, blurring the boundary between object and environment while creating a fluid and extended visual depth.

 

The use of 316 stainless steel emphasizes corrosion resistance and long-term stability, responding to the needs of durability and sustainability in public spaces. Inside the fixture, a soft circular light band provides an even and warm glow, balancing the cool appearance of the metal.

 

The recessed form beneath the lamp further responds to the dining table setting. By reflecting and concentrating sound, it helps make conversation clearer and more intimate. Combining light, sound, and material, the lamp becomes more than illumination; it becomes a spatial core for human interaction.

 

浮光映射 -- 生活之容器

 

本案以「懸浮的光之容器」為概念，將316不鏽鋼塑形成圓潤如豌豆的有機量體，透過高鏡面拋光，使空間、人物與光影被收納與映射，模糊物件與環境的界線，營造流動且延展的視覺層次。

 

材質選用316不鏽鋼，強調耐蝕性與長期穩定性，回應公共空間對耐用與永續的需求。內部光源以柔和環形光帶呈現，散發均勻且溫潤的光質，平衡金屬外觀的冷冽感。

 

燈體下方凹槽設計進一步回應餐桌情境，透過聲音的反射與集中，使人與人之間的對話更加清晰，強化交流的親密與聚焦。整體設計結合光、聲與材質，讓燈體不僅是照明裝置，更成為促進人際互動的空間核心。
