Beauty in a Cup: A Daily Act of Aesthetic Giving
 
The idea of “aesthetic co-printing” also carries a social meaning. Inspired by the spirit of collective support, the project turns design into an act of giving. Designers contribute their creativity, the public receives and uses the cups, and beauty is passed from one person to another through ordinary moments such as drinking coffee or sharing a conversation. The activity invited five designers to create individual graphic works, which were then printed onto the familiar 143ml glass cup. Through this process, an ordinary daily object was transformed into a small but meaningful carrier of culture, memory, and shared beauty.
 
The 143ml glass cup has long been associated with Taiwan’s everyday dining culture. It is modest in scale, practical in use, and commonly seen in homes, cafés, and local food scenes. Instead of treating design as something distant or exclusive, this project uses a familiar object to bring aesthetics closer to people’s hands. The cup is not only meant to be viewed, but also held, used, gifted, and remembered.
 

杯中美好・日常助印
 
借用傳統「助印」的概念，將善意、美感與分享持續擴散。透過設計師創作、民眾使用與活動推廣，杯子不只是容器，更像是一個傳遞美好關係的媒介。它讓人們在喝一杯咖啡或水的時候，也能感受到設計與生活的連結。杯上圖案邀請五位知名設計師分別創作，委託春池使用再生玻璃，將其印製於台灣人熟悉的 143ml 玻璃杯上，使一只平凡的杯子成為承載文化、情感與美感的生活物件。
 
143ml 玻璃杯原本存在於台灣庶民飲食記憶之中，常見於茶飲、咖啡、果汁與日常餐桌。它不張揚，卻與人的生活非常親近。本作品正是以這種「小而日常」的器物作為載體，讓設計不再只是展場中的展示品，而能真正被拿起、使用、分享與收藏。杯身上的圖案包含手勢、循環符號、筆觸、玻璃鞋與植物紋理等不同語彙，呈現五位設計師各自的美學觀點；透明玻璃則讓圖案在光線、飲品與手掌之間產生變化，使杯子成為一件會隨使用情境而改變的微型藝術品。
