Pages Open, Light Gathers

 

The Illuminated Book transforms the image of an opening book into a pendant light above the dining table. Shaped like a closed book, the fixture preserves the elegant outline of the spine, cover, and page edges. When illuminated, it feels as if the pages are gently opening, releasing soft light from within.

 

More than a lighting device, the pendant becomes a visual and emotional focus for dining. Light spreads across the table like written words, creating a calm and poetic atmosphere for gathering, conversation, and everyday meals. Through a simple form, the design connects light, reading, and dining into a warm chapter of daily life.

 

書頁開合，光映餐敘

 

本件餐桌吊燈以「閱光之書」作為設計概念，將書本開闔的意象轉化為餐桌上方的光之裝置。燈體外觀如同一本閉合的書，保留書脊、封面與書頁邊緣的優雅輪廓；當燈光展開時，彷彿書頁被輕輕翻開，柔和光線由內而外釋放，為用餐空間帶來安定而富有詩意的氛圍。

 

設計讓吊燈不只是照明設備，而成為凝聚餐桌情感的視覺焦點。光線如同文字般鋪展於桌面，使家人與朋友在相聚、對話與用餐之間，感受閱讀般的沉靜與溫度。整體作品以簡潔造型承載生活想像，讓光、書與餐敘共同形成日常中的美好篇章。
