NTCH Christmas Tree - Care and Interaction

 

Titled “Tree of Hope, Light of a Century,” this Christmas tree installation transforms a festive symbol into a public artwork of blessing, charity, and sustainability. Built with 100 energy-saving LED lights, the tree symbolizes hope for Taiwan’s next century. Through the lighting ceremony and charity sale, the project promotes energy saving, carbon reduction, and care for disadvantaged communities.

 

Set in the plaza of the National Theater and Concert Hall, the cone-shaped tree, golden light mesh, and spiral light bands create a warm and luminous holiday scene. Here, light is not merely decoration, but a symbol of kindness and shared hope.

 

Visitors are invited to write wishes on blessing cards. Each small act of goodwill becomes a glowing point of love, bringing warmth and care to those in need.

 

兩廳院聖誕樹 - 關愛與互動

 

將聖誕樹轉化為象徵祝福、公益與永續精神的公共藝術裝置。作品以 100 盞節能 LED 燈構成發光樹體，象徵台灣邁向百年未來的希望，也透過點燈儀式與義賣活動，傳遞節能減碳與關懷弱勢的社會意義。

 

裝置設置於兩廳院廣場，面對具東方建築語彙的文化場域，以簡潔錐形量體、金色光網與環繞光帶，營造溫暖明亮的節慶景觀。光線不只是裝飾，而是希望的延伸；每一盞燈都象徵一份善意，也讓城市夜晚因人群的參與而更加溫暖。

 

現場提供祈福卡片，讓大朋友與小朋友寫下對新年的期待。每一張願望、每一份小小善心，都如同樹上的光點，凝聚成對弱勢團體的愛與關懷，使聖誕樹成為連結節慶、城市、公益與未來願景的希望象徵。
