A Vessel for Nature and Renewal

 

The Sustainable Ark is designed as a symbolic vessel that carries nature back into the interior space. Its long, faceted form is inspired by the shape of an ark, suggesting protection, migration, and renewal. Instead of being only a planter, it becomes a small ecological landscape, holding moss, ferns, stones, and soil within a sculptural black container.

 

The angular outer shell gives the work a strong architectural presence, while the soft green surface inside creates a contrast between structure and life. The design transforms a circulation area into a quiet moment of nature, allowing people to slow down and reconnect with the environment.

 

Its sustainable meaning lies not only in planting greenery, but in reminding us that architecture should not merely consume space. It can also preserve, carry, and regenerate life.

 

承載自然的室內地景

 

「永續方舟」以方舟作為設計意象，將植物、苔蘚、石材與土壤收納於一個具有雕塑感的容器之中，象徵在現代建築空間裡，為自然保留一處可以被承載、保護與延續的位置。外型採用修長且具斜面的幾何量體，像一艘靜置於室內的船，也像一件能穿越時間的生態容器。

 

深色外殼呈現沉穩、俐落的建築性，與內部柔軟的綠色植被形成強烈對比。黑色量體代表結構、保護與界線；苔蘚與蕨類則象徵生命、濕度與自然循環。人在空間中行走時，方舟不只是視覺焦點，也讓動線中出現一段安靜的自然停留。

 

此設計的永續精神，不只是把綠植放入室內，而是重新思考人、建築與自然的關係。它提醒我們，空間不應只追求造型與功能，也應該成為能保存生命、修復感受、並讓自然重新進入日常的容器。
