Public art with natural imagery and urban appeal

 

This installation, titled Tooth Art Installation, transforms the structure of teeth into a public artwork filled with natural imagery and urban playfulness. The design uses the white, rounded form of the king oyster mushroom to symbolize the clean and bright quality of teeth. Inside the mushroom-like form, regularly arranged fine tubes echo the dentinal tubules found in tooth structure, turning biological detail into a visible spatial language.

 

The green, undulating ground represents the gums, enlarging the relationship between teeth and oral tissue into a playful landscape. The contrast between the soft white volume and the green base creates a strong visual identity. Set against the colorful nightscape of the city, the installation becomes both educational and imaginative, transforming a dental metaphor into a memorable artistic scene.

 

自然意象城市趣味的公共藝術

 

本裝置作品引用白靈菇潔白、圓潤而飽滿的形態，象徵牙齒乾淨明亮的本質；菌菇內部排列規則的細管，則呼應牙齒構造中的牙本質小管，使生理結構轉化為可被觀看與感受的空間語彙。

 

裝置底部以綠色起伏草地象徵口腔中的牙齦，讓牙齒與牙齦之間的關係被放大成一處充滿童趣與想像力的景觀。柔和的白色量體與綠色基座形成鮮明對比，也與夜晚城市街廓中華燈初上的繽紛表情產生對話。

 

整體設計在靜態自然形體與動態城市氛圍之間創造衝突趣味，使牙齒不再只是醫療或生理符號，而成為一件具有教育性、親和力與視覺記憶點的藝術裝置。
