Everyday Joy in a Double-Island Kitchen

 

The design concept of “facing pairs” aims to create a dining and kitchen space filled with symmetry, harmony, and daily interaction. With two islands arranged in dialogue with each other, cooking is no longer an isolated activity. Family members can talk, share, and participate while preparing meals, creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment. Each island carries its own function, such as cooking, dining, preparation, or storage, responding to the different needs of the household. This arrangement allows the kitchen to become both practical and social, supporting multiple activities at the same time.

 

Tall cabinets serve as the main storage elements and visually correspond with the islands, forming a balanced spatial composition. They provide generous storage for tableware, utensils, ingredients, and daily objects, while also adding vertical depth. Together, the double islands and tall cabinets create a kitchen that is functional, harmonious, and full of everyday pleasure.

這種「雙雙相望」的設計理念旨在打造一個充滿對稱和和諧感的餐廚空間，即使下廚也可以對談聊天分享、產生舒適且互動愉悅的生活環境。每個中島都具有獨特的功能，例如烹飪區、用餐區或儲物區，以滿足家庭成員不同的需求。

 

高櫃作為收納元素，與中島相對應，兩者形成了視覺上的對稱。高櫃提供了豐富的收納空間，可以容納餐具、器皿、食材等，同時也營造了立體感，使空間更具深度。
