The Floating Kitchen 浮島之廚

A Clean System of Storage and Lightness
 
The Floating Kitchen is designed around cleanliness, storage efficiency, and visual lightness. The island appears to float through the use of transparent glass supports, reducing the heaviness of traditional cabinetry and creating a lighter spatial presence. Its grey metal-like countertop and cabinet surfaces provide a calm, durable, and easy-to-clean working area for daily cooking.
 
Storage is integrated into tall white cabinets, keeping appliances, cookware, food supplies, and daily objects hidden behind clean vertical panels. This reduces visual clutter and allows the kitchen to remain organized even during frequent use. Built-in ovens, refrigerators, and equipment are aligned within the wall system, making the kitchen more efficient and easier to maintain.
 
The design balances wood warmth, metal precision, and transparent structure. It is not only a kitchen, but a practical living system that makes cooking, cleaning, and storage feel simple and orderly.
 

易打理與高收納的輕盈生活系統
 
以易於打理、完整收納與視覺輕盈作為設計核心。中島下方以透明玻璃支撐，使大型廚具量體看起來像是懸浮在空間中，減少傳統櫃體落地的厚重感，也讓地面更容易清潔，視覺上更乾淨俐落。
 
檯面與灰色櫃體採用簡潔平整的材質語言，減少縫隙與多餘線條，方便日常擦拭與維護。料理區、備料區與水槽被整合在同一條中島軸線上，使使用動線更直接，也降低烹飪時的雜亂感。
 
收納則集中於整面白色高櫃系統，將電器、冰箱、烤箱、鍋具與生活用品隱藏於垂直櫃面之中，讓廚房保持清爽一致。木質中島提供溫度，灰色金屬感檯面帶來專業與耐用，透明支撐則創造漂浮感。整體設計不只是追求外觀，而是讓廚房在使用、清潔與收納上都更加簡單、有序且舒適。
