The natural convergence of light, wind, greenery and human activities

 

East Confluence Academy is designed around the spirit of a contemporary academy, creating a place for reflection, learning, and exchange. Instead of standing apart from nature, the low and horizontal architectural volumes gently extend into the landscape, blending with grass fields, water, pathways, and open sky.

 

The design connects architecture, courtyards, walking paths, and water features into one continuous spatial experience. Curved paths guide people through planting areas and soft outdoor scenery, turning movement into a quiet journey through nature. The water surfaces reflect light and sky, adding calmness, clarity, and a sense of breathing space to the environment.

 

Large open views blur the boundary between inside and outside, allowing light, air, greenery, and human activity to flow together. With nature as its background and learning as its core, the academy becomes a vessel for knowledge, community, and peaceful daily reflection.

 

光線、風、綠意與人的活動之間自然交會

 

本案以「書院」作為空間精神，透過低矮舒展的建築量體、開闊的自然景觀與流動的戶外動線，形塑一處能讓人沉澱、交流與學習的場域。建築不以強烈姿態介入環境，而是以水平延展的方式融入草地、水池與天光之中，使空間呈現安定、謙遜而富有人文氣息的氛圍。

 

整體規劃將建築、庭院、步道與水景串聯成連續的生活路徑。曲線步道引導人們穿越草坡與植栽，讓行走成為感受自然的過程；水池與濕地般的地景則反映天空光影，為書院注入靜謐、清澈與呼吸感。大面積開放視野，使室內外關係不再被明確切割。

 

設計以自然為背景，以學習為核心，讓建築成為知識交流與身心休憩的容器。人在此可閱讀、思考、聚會，也能在自然景觀中重新感受時間與生活的流動。
