A Living Laboratory for Food, Culture, and Community

 

The Good Greenhouse is designed as a transparent house of growth, learning, and shared living. Its glass roof and structural frame bring natural light into the interior, creating an open environment where plants, water, people, and daily life can coexist.

 

The design integrates aquaponics, ethnic plants, edible landscapes, mobile gardening, and community dining into one continuous spatial experience. Aquaponics connects fish cultivation with vegetable growing, forming a visible cycle of water, nutrients, and food production. Ethnic plants preserve local memory and cultural diversity, while edible landscapes transform greenery from decoration into something that can be harvested, cooked, and shared.

 

讓自然、飲食與社區重新連結

 

以透明溫室作為設計核心，將建築轉化為一座可以生長、學習與共享的生活場域。玻璃屋頂與白色結構引入自然光，使植物、水體與人在同一個明亮空間中共存，形成介於花園、教室與社區客廳之間的新型公共場所。

 

設計內容包含魚菜共生、民族植物、可食地景、行動園藝與社區共食。魚菜共生讓魚類養殖與蔬菜栽培形成循環系統，象徵資源再利用與永續生產；民族植物則保存地方知識與文化記憶，讓不同族群的飲食與植物經驗被看見。可食地景讓綠化不只是觀賞，而能被採收、料理與分享。

 

行動園藝提供彈性種植與教學可能，可依季節、課程或社區活動調整。最後透過社區共食，將種植成果轉化為人與人之間的交流。此設計希望讓溫室不只是種植物的地方，而是承載環境教育、文化保存與共同生活的美好容器。
