Bao-An Simplicity in Essence 寶安 | 大道至簡

A Humble Transformation of an Old Industrial Building
 
This project begins with the renovation of an old reinforced-concrete industrial factory, transforming it into a high-end exhibition, sales, and co-learning center. The space integrates display, sharing, and education, creating a platform where artists, designers, and craftsmen can exchange ideas. As an international corporate headquarters and shared office, it combines architecture, design, and craftsmanship to promote the concept of whole-house customization.
 
The design is centered on “a better home, a better life, and better relationships,” expressing humility, transparency, and simplicity. At the entrance, a recessed triangular form symbolizes openness and modesty. Large glass façades bring natural light into the building, while the original openings are preserved to strengthen the architectural layers. The circulation is rotated at 45 degrees to create a guided and flowing spatial experience, balancing openness with privacy and luxury with restraint.
 
By preserving the original structure and combining Bauhaus rationality with contemporary innovation, the project allows space and time to coexist.
 

從舊建築改造出發，以謙遜的姿態回望空間的存在

本案位於一棟老舊RC工業廠房，透過改造讓其蛻變為高端展銷與共學中心。空間結合展示、共享與教育功能，成為藝術家、設計師與工藝師交流的場域。作為企業國際總部兼共享辦公室，本案融合建築、設計與手工藝，推動全屋訂製理念，展現企業創新與美學的整合。

共享空間的設計以「美好家園、美好生活、美好關係」為主軸，強調謙遜、通透與質樸三種美學。在入口的空間手法以內凹三角造型象徵謙遜與開放；外觀採大面玻璃引入自然光，保留原有開口並加強體量層次。動線以「引導」為概念，旋轉45度形成流動動勢，使空間能在通透與隱私、奢華與低調之間自由切換，營造多層次的體驗。

使空間不受原有形式的限制，設計之初保留原有建築特徵，融合包浩斯理性精神與當代創新思維，讓空間與時間共融，體現企業對新生活方式的想像。
